I'm OUT!

Its been a great MOvember. We had a lot of good times and raised some mondo cash for men's cancer research.

At the time of this writing, my team, the Duckstaches, had raised $577!

Thank you again to everyone who donated and we'll see You, MR. STACHE, next Nov.

Typical Sat. Night With Mr. MO

"My name is Terry I put them on as a shocker - man - I love - these Blue Blockers - everything is clear - they block out the sun - Oh Yeah - I gotta get me sum!!!!"

Disclaimer: They do nothing to improve your pool game. They do however turn the felt blue - which was pretty neat.

Thanks Dave, Lance, Melissa, Reier and Whitney for the good times at the golf course.

On The Board!!!!!

After being noticeably absent from participation in MOvember - it now appears Mr. Mock was not lying about shaving and there can be seen, perhaps with some strain, visible growth.

I speak for everyone when I say: "Congratulations!"

Now...lets see if he can get past the "creeper" stage by the end of the month

Open Letter to MO

Dear Mr. Mo,

We've come a long way together. You've undergone many changes in the past 19 days - and so have I. And with only 11 days left, I can't stop reminiscing on our shared experiences.

The times you've caused spontaneous laughter...
All the "what is that guy doing so close to the playground..." looks...
The comparisons to wild-west characters and actors in elicit films.

You've brought me and the general public great joy in your short life. It will be difficult to say goodbye Dec. 1st.

Please find comfort in the knowledge that we will be reunited next MOvember.

Here's to a great friendship and cheers to the next week and 1/2. I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend it with.

Always,

Terry

New Front-Runner in the Lame-MO Competition

Believe it or not - Mr. Mock asserts that this truly is 17 days of growth under his nose.

Instead of giving him gruff, give him green by clicking on the stache in the upper right. Perhaps all Corey's mustache needs is a bit of monetary motivation to sprout.

Lets hope so...

Nov. 16th - "The Creeper"

Help fight men's cancer - hit that mustache to your right. $5 can make a difference...and it will give me motivation to last all Nov. rockin' this thing.

TIPS - by Steffen

Mustache tips for flu season: With the H1N1 virus around this fall, it's important to take precautions when out and about with your mustache. Always carry a bottle of hand sanitizer people can use when they ask to touch your nose neighbor.

Immortalizing Mr. Stache Near-Miss

Today a crew came in to shoot a commercial for Space Creators - a cool new program my agency began. Anywho - they were in need of an extra to sit at a desk and look frustrated with the mess in front of him. Despite my face, I was asked if I'd be willing to play the role. Of course I offered my acting services - and my upper lip. I did warn them however that I would not shave for this and if it is me they want, then this "me" comes with "this" (pointing to my now lushous crumb-catcher). Back to work I went.

Later, I heard people in the office talking about how the shoot went. I'd like to think that missing out wasn't as much of a slight to me personally...but an indication of my agencies apprehensions of being labeled "too macho" had I been included.

The growing continues.

Let The Mustache Movement Commenceth

MOvember is a charitable movement during the month of November. It raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male depression.

Teams of "Bro's" join this movement and pledge to grow a mustache in Nov. They also accept pledges on behalf of those mustache's in an effort to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Livestrong.

This blog is dedicated to Team DUckstaches and will include notes from team members, anecdotes of living with a mustache and of course, pics of our sweet stache's for your entertainment.

Please consider donating. It supports a great cause, you get some hella good karma and we keep the motivation to rock the upper-lip fuzz!

Stay tuned for anecdotes and pics and please visit movember.com for more details.

p.s. Ladies need not feel left out. You may also join as "Mo Sista's" in support of the manliest of men's accessories - the stache' - and aid in spreading the word and soliciting funds for your "Bro's".
